Galxe OAT (on-chain achievement token) is now deployed on Optimism!

For those that don’t know, OATs (On-Chain Achievement Tokens) are a digital record of all your life’s achievements, including your digital assets and digital identity.

What makes this launch truly exciting is that Galxe OAT is a gasless solution that will enable Optimism Web3 dApps to reach millions of highly engaged web3 users with reward-based loyalty programs. We are expecting exponential growth in the OP ecosystem because of this deployment and are excited to review the data post-launch.

The Galxe OP OAT is the 4th OAT deployed on Galxe. Our aim with this launch is to incentivize new users to join OP Web3 dApps and non-native OP dApps. Not only will this ensure ecosystem growth but this token also serves as a reward-based solution for boosting user engagement. Since Galxe launched our OAT on Avalanche back in late March, 2,894,951 tokens have been minted to date and we have no doubt that the same positive sentiments will follow this OAT launch as well.

Not only is the deployment of our gas-less OAT on the Optimism Ecosystem a game-changer for web3 and a major step in our partnership with Optimism but it also highlights Galxe’s vision of being the one-stop-shop for community management and engagement.

A Look-Back On The Optimism Quest Campaign

This OP OAT integration follows the results of the Optimism Quests Campaign which ran on Galxe in September 2022. Optimism sought an effective and sustainable way to help users discover, explore, and engage in the Optimism ecosystem. Since Galxe specializes in building web3 community and had previously powered ecosystem campaigns for Solana, Moonbeam, BNB, and Arbitrum… we were the prominent platform to build this campaign on.

The Optimism Quests Campaign invited Web3 users to explore the Optimism ecosystem via a perpetual learn-to-earn model. Users would begin their learn-to-earn journey by entering the Optimism Quest Hub and were then directed to read short educational content about participating ecosystem projects. Once users performed all specified behaviors, they would become eligible to mint the project’s special Optimism Quest NFT on their Galxe campaign page.

The overall campaign resulted in a total of 3.4 million NFTs being minted, and participants were more than excited to learn about the variety of dApps and opportunities that Optimism had to offer. What was more impressive than the millions of mints was the retention rate achieved post-campaign.

Comparing the 30-day pre-quest and post-quest data, Dune reported that the Optimism Quests brought almost a 50% increase in all Optimism usage. Not only that but the number of unique wallet addresses making transactions per day doubled from 11.65k to 25.13k.
